These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Engle Jiu Jitsu website (cebjj.net), our phone and text-messaging services, and any trial classes, memberships, or other services you book through them. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. Who We Are

Engle Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy operated by Butterfly Guard LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean Engle Jiu Jitsu and Butterfly Guard LLC.

2. Use of the Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it, submit false or misleading information through our forms, or use automated tools to scrape or collect information from the site.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Program Terms

When you opt in to receive text messages from Engle Jiu Jitsu — by checking the consent box on our website form or by giving verbal consent on a phone call — you agree to receive texts about your trial class, appointment confirmations and reminders, class updates, and occasional offers.

Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You must be 18 years or older to use this service.

Supported carriers include all major U.S. carriers. Message delivery is subject to carrier availability and coverage.

4. Trial Classes and Bookings

Free trial classes are offered to residents of the Las Vegas area. Visitors and non-residents may purchase a day drop-in. Trial and drop-in bookings are subject to availability and to the class schedule in effect on the day of the class. We may reschedule or cancel a class due to holidays, instructor availability, weather, or other circumstances, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

A signed liability waiver is required before participating in any class. Participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

5. Memberships and Payments

Membership terms, pricing, and payment schedules are provided at the time of enrollment. Memberships are billed on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise stated in your membership agreement. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in your agreement. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes will not affect any period you have already paid for.

6. Assumption of Risk

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a physical contact sport that involves inherent risk of injury. By participating in any class, open mat, private lesson, or event, you acknowledge these risks and agree to the terms of the liability waiver you sign at the academy. Consult a physician before beginning any training program, especially if you have an injury or medical condition.

7. Conduct at the Academy

We expect all students and visitors to treat instructors, training partners, and staff with respect and to follow instructor guidance regarding safety. We reserve the right to refuse service, end a trial or drop-in, or terminate a membership for conduct that we determine to be unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive.

8. Intellectual Property

The content on our website — including text, images, logos, and video — is owned by or licensed to Engle Jiu Jitsu and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website and communications may include links to third-party websites or services, including the platforms we use for scheduling, messaging, and payments. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.

10. Disclaimers

Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy or completeness of website content, including class schedules, which may change without notice. Information on the website does not constitute medical or professional advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Engle Jiu Jitsu and Butterfly Guard LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, communications, or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in these Terms replaces or modifies the liability waiver you sign at the academy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.
